The staff at TNT Aloha Cafe were amazing and so was the food. Everything was amazing Kendall was so friendly and kind. He is respectful, cheerful and very good at talking to customers and it would be a real loss when he enlists. He gives good recommendations and talks about what to try and I’m certain you would love the food and service at Alola cafe. Grace was amazing. She was attentive and smart and paid extra attention and always goes the extra mile to help her customers. She made sure for takeouts that sufficient condiments and serviettes were given. You can tell she’s excellent at her job. All in all both Kendall and Grace work great together and I’m sure you’ll have a great time there as long as they are around ~ Eric T
KENDALL is the BEST server!! The dining room was full and he provided quick and high quality service to everyone there. His sense of humor and positive attitude keeps the customers entertained and happy. We have been here several times before, always taken care of by ALMA who is also super friendly always helpful. The owner STEVE is also super cool and welcoming! We even left with a fun new Lilo and Stitch edition Spam! Also, their shave ice is very good - the quality reminds us of what we’d get in Hawaii! Same with the food - Lau Lau, Lomi Salmon and Kalua pig are so tasty we get it every time! We love this place so much we choose to come here for our birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Highly recommend! ~ Breanna C
My family & I have coming here since the original family was at The Rickshaw Restaurant (aka Gardena Bowl, for the real ones that know. It was the restaraunt’s real name). Followed them to Kau Kau Corner inside of Marukai (now Tokyo Central on Artesia Blvd), and now to their new home on Anza & PCH. ✅ Food is still great. New menu items, along with their signature classics from Gardena Bowl days. ✅ Staff are all incredibly cool & welcoming. ✅ Low-key, hidden & intimate spot in the back of the business plaza. Safe & comfortable! I bring all of my friends & family, from far & wide. From friends that don’t have any rice spots in their area, to friends from Japan, they all LOVE TNT Aloha Cafe, just as much as I do. It’s definitely a comforting spot that makes you feel welcomed & comfotable. 100% recommended to check out, if you haven’t yet. ~ WaxAddictLA E
This is one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast in the entire southbay. Cranking out some of the best Hawaiian food in the area, this place is a hidden gem tucked away in the back of an unassuming strip mall. I come here for one thing...The Aloha Royale. This plate is a heaven sent after knocking out some hiking in the PV hills. A mash of Portuguese Sausage and Egg and other delicious things thrown on top of rice... Always leaving me full and satisfied. I always loved coming to sit in restaurant and eat here cause the staff and customers alike were so nice and welcoming. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area! ~ Restless V
Absolutely love TNT Alpha Cafe! This place is a hidden gem in the South Bay the vibe is super friendly and just what you’d want from a local spot. Steve, Alma, and Grace were all amazing, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The coffee is top-notch, the food hits the spot every time, and the service is 10/10. Whether you’re swinging by for a quick bite or hanging out for a bit, this place delivers. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood cafes. Can’t recommend it enough! ~ kenneth h
We got the Kimchi Loco and the Royal Combo. The portion was generous and the food was sooo good!! My Kimchi Loco had crispy Portuguese patty, fresh kimchi, presumably house-made gravy on top of kimchi fried rice. Refreshing touch to a classic loco moco! Oh and they have lau lau on Saturdays and some other days(although they were out when we got there 😢) which I think is not super common in Hawaiian restaurants in LA. The servers were very attentive, kind, and friendly. Dining area and the bathroom were clean as well 😊 ~ Jamie
This is one of the local favorites for Hawaiian food. Hearty authentic tasty food, clean and informal setting, and excellent service (the waitress refilled my coffee 5 times!). Tip: if you don’t mind Kim chi, definitely pick the Kim chi as the fried rice option. Could be a little on the salty side but definitely tasty! Tip: I also asked for a side of gravy for my breakfast plate, the kindly provide for free! I couldn’t finish and they gave an extra small cup of it for me to take. The service is really outstanding. ~ Tony F
This is the most authentic Hawaiian food you will have in California. This is real Hawaiian style plates as if you were eating at a local place in Hawaii. This place is Hawaii at heart and has the aloha spirit. 10 out of 10 for me. Favorite place to get Hawaiian food besides being in Hawaii. Note: If you're expecting a nice establishment that plates their food and dresses it up fancy this is not the place for you. This is authentic Hawaiian from the taste, food, and how their plated. ~ Kevin K
I just came back from this place and the Loco Moco Max and Kimchi is outstanding. Their TNT fried rice is yummy! The only thing better than that is the services. I came from Montebello to Torrance on a few recommendations and when we arrived home the sashimi for my Poki order was missing. So I called to maybe get the refund for that and I was impressed by their generosity and volunteered to pay me back for the entire order! I can't even imagine a better way to serve! ~ Veronica M
I'm a long time local regular: the musubi is top notch, and best in the area. (I strongly suggest their spam, but their Portuguese sausage patty and the katsu musubi options are WELL worth trying.) Being on their text list also lets you know about their weekly specials, and the katsu curry, kalbi ribs, and kalua pork with cabbage plates are some of my very favorites. Great family restaurant all around. ~ Sam H
The staff at TNT Aloha Cafe in Torrance are always so friendly and welcoming! Every time I visit, I’m greeted at the door and seated right away it really feels like ohana here. The food is consistently great, and I love that they have different weekly specials that keep things fresh and exciting. Whether you’re craving Hawaiian comfort food or just looking for a great local restaurant in Torrance, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommend! ~ Victoray L
When the two of us arrived there we were greeted with a welcome and smile and to choose any seating. We ordered loco moco and asked our server would it be ok to modify it a little, no problem she said! It was fantastic one with Portuguese sausage the other traditional wit a couple of extra item's. I just returned from Maui two weeks ago and being at T N T' S it felt as if I was still there. " A MUST TO TRY FOR YOURSELF " RICH ~ Ricki K
TNT’s Aloha Cafe hit the spot. The loco moco was solid. Great portions. Really liked the homemade Portuguese sausage. Katsu don had a ton of flavor, and the Chinese chicken salad had a really good dressing. Tried a few musubis too (spam, katsu, and Portuguese sausage) all were tasty. Chill spot if you’re craving some Hawaiian food. Don’t forget to ask for their weekly specials. ~ Jesse C
Hawaiian comfort food right here. I come here for breakfast at least once a week and I love their corn beef hash and eggs. I also get the spam musubi as well. They also have amazing shaved ice, just like in Hawaii. They are so good! This is a go to spot for anyone in the area. Everything in the menu is really good and the server is super nice and helpful. You will love this place. ~ Ignacio N
A co-worker told me about their Portuguese fried rice and I had to check it out. It was very reminiscent of my mother's fried rice (except for the Portuguese sausage which they make their themselves). Super low key, all up in the cut in the back of the plaza. Oh yeah, I always appreciate any food spot that actually gives you sriracha sauce instead water with a splash of sriracha. ~ Steven P
All we got was the shaved ice (can't speak for the food), but it was delish. We got a small with an ice cream and a sweetened condensed milk add in. I definitely recommend! We got mango and the other was a mix of passionfruit and coconut. We got a small but it came in a giant cup. Sooooo satisfying after hiking all afternoon! The staff was friendly as well. ~ Candra B
Great place for a Hawaiian plate lunch. The poke is ridiculously good and you can’t go wrong with the katsu chicken. Love the servers. Don’t forget your Hawaiian sun juices. You’ll be doing your happy dance wiggle in your seat. We added the 1/2 order of chicken salad and their dressing is light and tangy. Enjoy! ~ Jen W
Kendall is amazing! Not only an amazing and cute smile, but a wonderful, funny, and splendid personality! 😊 He was quick and on top of it even with a full house and being the only waiter. Food delicious like always and the best island eats you can get on the mainland!!!🏝🌺 Thank you Kendall and TnT staff! ~ Stephanie N
Really enjoyed the food here. Had the Kalua pork plate. Really tasty and cooked just right! It came with Mac salad and rice. Finished off dinner with shaved ice. Only thing I wish they served was ramen cabbage salad. I am used to having it with Kalua pork and it was strange to not offer it as a side. Overall it was a good dining experience! ~ L B
If I could give it 6 stars, I would. The people there were some of the nicest and most hospitable I’ve ever met. They really made me feel comfortable there. Their food is great, and the portions are massive, I didn’t think the plates could be so large. If you like Hawaiian food and want to sit down and eat, I easily recommend this place. ~ Alex N
Just had an excellent lunch paired with excellent service. My wife had chicken katsu which she regular orders. She said this was the best chicken katsu in the area.. very crispy exterior. I had the Loco moco and I very much enjoyed that too. I recommend this place to everyone that craves Hawaiian food. ~ R
Kendall was great!!! Disregard my first attempt at doing this review. I thought I had to tap each of the 5 stars. But after I tapped first star the review disappeared. I love TNT!😋 I come every Friday or Saturday for their Lau Lau plate. Onolicious!😋 ~ Carol H
This is a great little restaurant, I love Hawaiian cooking, so that helps too! The service was good and he food served fast. The place is little, but it was a fun atmosphere. They also serve some shaved ice, so that was a nice treat to end the meal with. ~ Justin H
Chose this restaurant for an impromptu party last night....the food was INCREDIBLE!!! We had the teriyaki chicken and beef, fried rice, wontons and the chicken salad...all gone in ten minutes flat!!! Definitely going to be my all-time favorite party tray place!! ~ Cro P
